** 2010 METS TICKETS AT FACE VALUE **
I am a Mets season ticket’s holder for a pair of seats in the Promenade Club section, halfway between home and 3B, and a Saturday Plan holder for 8 seats in the Promenade Reserved Infield, in a section right behind home plate (for family outings).
My inventory of unallocated tickets are below. I hate the idea of squeezing fellow baseball fans, so except for the Yankees games (where I’d be stupid not to), I NEVER charge more than what you’d pay buying from the Mets online, where they add a $6 fee per ticket plus a $5 “transaction fee” ($17 per pair) — and that only for weekend games, to offset the discount from face value I offer to many weekday games. Even for the Yankees games, if you take 4 weekday games with each one, you can have the set at pure face value with no fees or markups at all! [NOTE: this is no longer available as all the Yankees series tickets have sold by now for well over $100 each on StubHub... Too bad they didn't find me via this listing or web page. However, if you want to lock in this deal for NEXT year, email me and I'll mark you down.]
I update the inventory listings as I make sales so this should be quite accurate; please email me to inquire or confirm availability. I live in Flushing and work in midtown Manhattan near 51st St. and Park Ave., and am open to meeting in person to exchange hard tickets for cash. Alternatively, you can use PayPal to send me money and I will mail you the hard tickets at my own cost (a “Forever” stamp plus an envelope), or e-transfer the tickets to you for a fee of $4 per game (what the Mets charge me to do so). Or the truly old-fashioned way: you mail me a personal check, and I’ll mail you the tickets after the check clears.
PROMENADE CLUB LISTINGS
My season’s tickets are in Section 420 Row 3, in seats before the bend. This is in the infield terrace of “box seats” about halfway between home plate and 3B, with club access to the Promenade Club, Caesars Club and Acela Club. There are only 18 Prom Club sections (Promenade Box seats that are between the bases), most of them with only FOUR rows and with the front 2 rows costing 25% more, making these the hardest ticket to get at Citi Field!
My unallocated inventory for these seats are:
Fri 5/7 vs. Giants – $110 for the pair (Giveaway: “Collector’s Cup”)
Fri 7/9 vs. Braves – $160 for the pair
Fri 9/10 vs. Phillies – $160 for the pair
Wed 9/29 vs. Brewers – $90 for the pair (below face)
BULK DISCOUNT: Take all four games together for $500 ($20 off).
The railing is not the way of the basepath or home plate in Row 3, and sits directly over the divide between the Caesars Gold sections 324/325 at the 3B end of the broadcast booth and press boxes.
PROMENADE RESERVE INFIELD LISTINGS
I also have tickets in Section 513, Row 13 for the following games and prices. This location is almost directly behind home plate! It has no obstructions in the view from stairwells or railings, and Row 13 is the lowest row under the canopy for cover from the rain and shade from the sun.
You can take any number of tickets for any game listed here that doesn’t leave me with a singleton (i.e., if I have 8 tickets left, you can buy any number except 7).
Sat 4/10 vs. Nationals – 2 left – $40 for the pair (Giveaway: “Mets Scarf”)
Tue 4/20 vs. Cubs – 3 left @ $50 for the trio (BELOW FACE!)
Thu 6/24 vs. Tigers – $50 for the pair
Wed 8/11 vs. Rockies (BELOW FACE!) – 8 left @ 22.50 each; $80 for 4x, $105 for 6x, $120 for 8x
Sat 8/28 vs. Astros – 3 left @ $100 for the trio
Sat 9/11 vs. Phillies – 3 left @ $115 for the trio
Wed 9/15 vs. Pirates (BELOW FACE!) – 2 left @ $25 for the pair
Sat 10/2 vs. Nationals (BELOW FACE!) – 8 left @ 22.50 each; $80 for 4x, $105 for 6x, $120 for 8x
